How we use publishers' material
dailybrief is a news briefing. For each story we show the headline or our own short headline, a brief summary written in our own words, the publisher's name, the publisher's own share image where available, as a reduced-size, compressed copy served from our site and credited to the publisher and a prominent link to the original article. We do not republish full articles, do not bypass paywalls, and respect each site's robots.txt rules when reading pages. Article text is used only to prepare the brief and is not stored or republished.
Requesting a correction or removal
If you own rights in material shown on dailybrief and want it corrected, credited differently or removed, email dhaneeshtnair@gmail.com with:
- your name and contact details, and whom you represent;
- the work you believe is affected;
- the exact page address(es) on dailybrief where it appears;
- what you would like us to do;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised, and that the information in your request is accurate and you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
We aim to respond within 2 working days and act promptly on valid requests, including those under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), the EU Digital Services Act and India's Information Technology Act. Publishers can also ask us to stop including their feed altogether.
Our own content
